The 146th Wing Alumni Association was organized for
the purpose of continuing the professional associations and fellowship its
members experienced during active participation in the 146th Tactical Airlift
Wing and its predecessor, or successor organizations and to assist the current
organization in whatever manner is deemed appropriate.
The Association's activities are directed by a
Steering Committee elected by the membership. Steering Committee Officers
include a Chairperson, Treasurer and other Officers the Membership feels are
appropriate to the operation of the organization at any given time. All
monies collected and expended are monitored by and deposited with the 146th Wing
at Channel Islands ANG Station. The Association Treasurer is responsible for all
financial transactions and publishes a quarterly report of these expenditures
along with a financial statement.
Annual Dues are $20.00. Each new member will receive a
146th Wing Alumni Association patch, 146th TAW pin and a membership roster which
is updated periodically. Members receive Newsletters and copies of the Vanguard.
Communications are designed to keep the membership informed as to current 146th
Wing and Association activities, along with copies of letters and/or comments
from Association members.
We hope you will enjoy the fellowship and we cordially
invite past and present members of the Wing and its predecessor organizations to
join.
